In 2006 Svetlana Mjakuškina gratuated from the School of Business Administration Turība with a qualification of an economist, whereas in 2008 she obtained a Master's degree in comprehensive quality management at the Riga Technical University where she is currently studying for a PhD.
Svetlana's management experience in public administration for more than 10 years has contributed to deep understanding of aspects of quality and safety, especially in the monitoring of construction products in the market and construction sites. Svetlana Mjakuškina has gained considerable international experience as an expert in projects for the strengthening of the market surveillance system of the European Union (EU) candidate countries, in the EU Administrative Cooperation Groups (ADCO) in the field of construction products and as a technical expert during the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

In 1994 Māris Demme obtained a Master's degree in mechanical engineering at the Riga Technical University. Later he supplemented his knowledge at the Riga Business School, the Center for Further Education of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the Riga Technical University, the Local Governments Training centre of Latvia and other educational establishments. He has management experience in public administration in the field of construction for more than twenty years.
